North Dakota | Met my soulmate 40 years ago at a high school party at an old abandoned farm. The dilapidated house was still standing so the party was held inside. Classmate had his car with high end stereo system backed up to a window. The trunk lid opened up to reveal an ear splitting array of speakers. Around midnight with the music blasting we looked across the room at each other and before I knew it we were in each other’s arms and have remained so since. Through thick and thin. Good and bad. Children and now grand children. In fact today we are having a sleepover with our 2 grand boys while my daughter and son-in-law go out and celebrate. I couldn’t ask for more. I am blessed by God beyond measure. | |
