SW WI | I was running thru my numbers like that when cleaning out manure this week. Thinking about the value of a bushel of corn running it thru cattle vs just grain farming.
I like what we do but it does take buildings, equipment, $ and time.
Not that I need to but I think I’ll point out the value added to my banker when we chat, next. Just that $ to cover incoming cattle…..makes you notice, a bit.
Seems if you’re a grain only guy you have time to complain about the poor crop prices and wonder when the next gov $ will be handed out…*** | |
