We have 5 gallon pails full of lifters and bent pushrods at the dealership I wrench at,rounded off cams as well. I've put lifters in trucks with as few as 5000 miles and have gotten new lifters out of the box that wouldnt pump up with oil pressure. We can put a man on the moon in the 60's but can't make a modern ICE motor last?? Hmmm
