WC IL | Used to haul into a couple of Walmart warehouses from suppliers. All the dock people said they made more money selling to other companies. Some had 2 production lines, one for Walmart and another, with better quality, for other customers. Said Walmart pretty much dictated what they would pay, take it or leave it. This was 35 years ago when they still had a few products made in the USA.
I avoid Walmart, and DG as well, as much as I can. Might cost a little more, but local businesses where I can talk to the owner get the majority of my business.
