The govt has an infinity amount of money to waste on this stuff. Might as well hold out for a few Trillion before leasing.


Last figures I saw was around $40,000/acre/year of electricity produced by solar. It will do just fine without the gov.
Also wonder how you explain why China is so far ahead of us on adding panels. Something around 1000 megawatts of capacity and adding more every year than we have total. I've been to China a few times in the last several years. These people seem to use a lot of common sense and think long term. Why would they be such fans solar if it's such a loser?
