Walmart is actually a predator to their suppliers.You start there with a great product ,demand rises,you need that increased biz,they tell you they want it cheaper ,so you do cut a tad,,they see sales going strong,,tell you they found another supply,you cut even more out to the bone,they replace your product with a chinese copy,=you are done.Friend does not use h2a employees,3 months ago it came out h2a was cutting wage costs,he was seeking a raise in product price this season due to costs of production,,Walmarty sent hm a letter saying the labor costs are going down,,therefore we are dropping the price to you by 8%..The email that wages dropped was not even cold and the friggers wanted their piece...They have the market % =monopoly
I’ve read they will ask to see your books if they see too much margin they will basically tell you what you can charge. |
