!. What is the going cash rent. I pay what one of the neighbors rented for. They have easier to farm ground than what I am renting.
Of course my landlord can say I am not paying the going rate as a mile from another farm I rent, someone is paying close to $100 more an acre. Also easier ground to farm.
2. How do you figure waste ground? That has a value anymore, even if it is not practical to clear it.
HERE hunters may pay more for that patch of grass and trees than farm ground will sell for. Pretty easy establish a base rent. Most farms will have an aph. 1/3 of that at new crop price out of the field. There you have it. |
