2 hard parts bout that formula.
!. What is the going cash rent. I pay what one of the neighbors rented for. They have easier to farm ground than what I am renting.
Of course my landlord can say I am not paying the going rate as a mile from another farm I rent, someone is paying close to $100 more an acre. Also easier ground to farm.
2. How do you figure waste ground? That has a value anymore, even if it is not practical to clear it.
HERE hunters may pay more for that patch of grass and trees than farm ground will sell for.
