I assume with this unit you have a NAV2 steering controller which is about the only component in a FMD setup to consider keeping in place. Steps up from a FMD would be a FMX, TMX and now GFX systems. These all have compatibility with the NAV. The NAV should have its firmware updated.
What’s going to lead to good recommendations is knowing what else you would like to integrate with a system upgrade such as flow and application control, seed monitoring, earthwork, or ISOBUS terminal. Knowing your access to a RTK base or CORS network will be helpful. Without a budget, you’ll get recommendations from $2000 to $10k plus. | |
