I have seen donkeys kill baby calves.

Yea me too. They will bite the back, kick, and cheap shot them too, especially a sick one. Not all donkeys, but some. The kids have two donkeys now that don’t seem to bother the calves, they’re miniatures though and seem deathly afraid of cows.

Horses will too. We had a worn out saddle horse in the feed row one winter that I found pinning down a terminal sick calf and biting its belly. I shot the calf and should have belly shot that gelding too..still pisses me off thinking about it.
