Its an existing Insight system that utilizes the factory SPX switches. I’m wondering if the harness that now is plugged into the Aux Module from the factory switches, could be unplugged and a harness from a AL switchbox could be plugged into the Aux Module and function?

I would say yes without a doubt.

If its setup like my Hagie you have a special cable which goes in between your SPX switches and a standard Auxiliary Input Module. It you unplug that cable from the Auxiliary Input Module you could feed the Auxiliary Input Module with an Ag Leader Master and 10 switch box, a Single SPDT toggle switch or a homemade dumb switch box (needs SPDT switches). This would be the plug with the green connector on it.

This was the way it was always done at first where an Auxiliary Input Module was the only option. Later Ag Leader came up with the other choice which has the Auxiliary Input Module and switches all in one enclosure. An Auxiliary Input Module with a switch box or the SC110 CAN switch box are functionally equivalent.

What is your goal? Do you wish to temporarily remove the Auxiliary Input Module and use it elsewhere with a switch box but move it back to the sprayer at spray time? Do you wish to use it in the sprayer but don't want to use the OEM switches that are currently involved?

As I'm sure you are aware, if you remove the system completely because of a trade, someone will need to do some rewiring unless they happen to have an Ag Leader system themselves.

Actually that is what happened to me. The previous owner of the used STS-10 that I purchased had an Ag Leader system in it. They left the modules but kept the display. This meant all I ha to do was install my display and GPS. When I traded the STS-10 for an STS-12, I removed the components and interceptor wiring harness from the STS-10 and used it on the newer sprayer. The STS-10 was able to work with a Raven 460 again.
