NEMO | Actually, they aren't the same, but often express in the same/similar manners. In the breed combo the OP is referring to, probably the diluter is more common, but depending on generations ago what the Simm was bred up with, it could also be wild type, same way with Gelb or any other breed that was more "bred up" when they hit North America. Tarentaise, Limm are 2 more. As for breeders calling stuff diluter free, maybe you Canucks do a better job than a lot of breeders do down here. Lots of red Simm and Gelb are called non diluters, only way red is really a non diluter is to come from 2 black parents. I stand corrected halfway | |
