Do you have any evidence of this? I believe local government sets the decommission bond which is based on recommendations by a third party engineering firm.
That is how the 1 project in our area works. They may not all be that way. Our commisioners do not have the authority to demand a certain decommission rate from said energy company. Couple counties over they were trying to get a project going and would not let the county hold the bond so the county put an ax to it . |
