Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Not sure if a 2500 would be better for your fluctuating speed than your 1500 with both using WAAS. The 2500 with the PF Advantage is likely running at 4800 BAUD since that was the limit in those days. The Integra can handle a higher BAUD rate so possibly that would help.

A Higher end GPS such as a GPS 6500 on WAAS might be better. A GPS 6500 with the Terra Star unlock and subscription might be better yet.

We have a GPS 7500 with an InCommand in the planting tractor. The GPS 7500 is unlocked and subscribed to a yearly Terra Star Pro Subscription. We move that InCommand and GPS 7500 from the planting tractor to the Hagie sprayer since the seasons don't overlap for us. We have not had speed fluctuation issues but we are using a more expensive GPS and a subscription.

This year our Hagie may be used at the same time as the planting tractor. It would be desirable to have a GPS 7500 unlocked and subscribed to Terra Star Pro C in each at the same time but I'm not certain I wish to trade to another GPS 7500 and pay for two Terra Star Pro C subscriptions.

Auto steer will definitely be desired in the planting tractor. The Hagie currently does not use auto steer. I attempted to use my Steady Steer from the combine in it but it wasn't acceptable to spray down the rows. For early season broadcast spraying, the Steady Steer might work fine. Having a better GPS source would be advisable. Maybe a GPS 6500 on WAAS would be good enough for auto steer when broadcast spraying.
