I am thinking about adding a Green fit to our Magnum. I got a quote from the local John Deere dealership for $5,495. This dealership has never been accused of giving good deals, so I was curious if they are in the ballpark or if I need shop around? Or if there is a place to look for used ones? I checked the Agtalk Classifieds and didn't find any at this time. I'm looking specifically for kit #670531
That's their standard price...I usually just say $5K for round numbers when I'm pricing them, at least when I'm pricing them with a new or higher dollar used unit.
I do have a used module in stock we just took out of an MF Tractor, I could get the cabling you need from Reichardt if you're not worried about needing support from the local dealer...With most products I'm a big proponent of supporting local, but Reichardt stuff is so solid I'm not really sure it matters.
