Thanks for sharing this. Just a couple of years before the depression. No phone numbers... much less a web site with pictures and on-line bidding.
I am also old enough to remember sales prior to the use of bidding numbers. Auctioneers had an amazing capacity for "facial recognition" of hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of auction attendees.
All of the new items reminded me of some comments about current sales. A 100 year old MUD program?*
