Subject: So what boat did your ancestors arrive on?

SDFarm - 2/10/2026 07:47

You go Jon MAKE SLAVERY GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you want a system which prices milk or beef the way Ford or GM price a pickup.. or the big four price fertilizer?

“by what the market can bare.”

Evidently the Trump administration does not.. that’s why he acted this week to allow beef trimmings in from Argentina.

Do the Argentinians pay US Taxes?  Live in the US?  Pay property taxes?  Of pickups.. houses.. pay rent?

but that’s okay..

Our ancestors came to the US to seek a better life.. escape tyranny.  “Huddled masses yearning to breath free.”

Why would someone come.. freely.. to enslave themselves?  The US has arguably the highest living standards.. that why people come.

Should we let everyone in?  No.

However, back to the original premise.. the lower end of the K economy is seeing its buying power erode.  As such in a democracy.. voters will vote their pocketbook.

Again I refer you to Trump allowing FOREIGN BEEF into the US.. why does he care?  Midterms.

Allowing enough in.. so they improve their standard of living.. while holding living costs in check.. is a logical way to fight inflation.

btw.. when was the last time higher interest rates mailed a cow?

At the end of the day.. allowing foreign raised beef is really no different then allowing a foreigner to participate in raising beef.. or milk.. in the US.

it’s just that the foreigner doesn’t contribute to US GDP.
