I was just trying to illustrate the stupidity of the idea of powering data centers, that use power 24/7/365, with solar power that only generates power 50% (or less) of the time.
Electric bills are going to explode to the upside in the next few years. Consumers will feel the pain as electric costs used to produce everything go up and are priced into goods and services.
Heavily subsidized solar is NOT the answer. It creates more problems than it solves.
