| Just got something in the mail from the State Vet. In a quarantine area for bird flu. No chickens or eggs in or out. Infected geese fall out of the sky, had one about hit the pickup last week while going over a railroad overpass. Deer numbers are the lowest I've ever seen because of Chronic Wasting Disease. Saw a mangy coyote out with the cows yesterday. Expecting screw flies any time. Time to clean the AR and check the ammo supply I guess. Wouldn't be surprised to see the walking dead show up next. | |
