Subject: RE: Food pyramid

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
I had no idea that a person was supposed to read the food pyramid from left to right. And, I find it interesting how the newly revised food pyramid has Keto friendly veggies top right ahead of eggs and fatty fish.

AI Overview

Yes, you can absolutely stay in ketosis while eating vegetables daily. In fact, consuming low-carb vegetables is recommended to provide fiber and essential nutrients. The key is to select non-starchy, above-ground vegetables and keep your total daily net carbs (total carbs minus fiber) between 20g and 50g.

Best Low-Carb Vegetables for Ketosis
Focus on vegetables with minimal carbohydrates to ensure you remain in fat-burning mode:

Leafy Greens: Spinach, kale, lettuce, arugula, Swiss chard, and cabbage.

Above-Ground Veggies: Broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, asparagus, cucumbers, green beans, and mushrooms.

Others: Celery, radish, and, in moderation, tomatoes and bell peppers.
