Youtube (and others) have adopted video compression....so I used about:config to disable AV1 and VP9 entirely.
Correct.....but when a person's video download speed is capped at say 4mbps, and they want to watch 1080/720p video without it buffering, then AV1/VP9 is the way to watch these videos.
