It's happening. Mcdonald's is rolling it out to 43,000 stores to help order accuracy and efficiency.

Customer facing jobs will be replaced with ai-based kiosks. You don't need some sci-fi movie level humanoid. Literally just a kiosk.

Gas stations, restaurants, your sales" agronomist" at the co-op,

Basic customer service that has
Scripted interactions
Menu-based decisions
Inventory
And taking orders or payment processing?

Just like robots took over milking, it would be very easy for AI to take over commodity agriculture. Everything is already in place for that to happen. As of right now you could go into any new sprayer and once the operator does The perimeter and a couple rounds to set the pattern. You can put a rock in the seat and wait for the sprayer at the other end of the field.

Same thing with a tillage tractor, even your planter. It will not be very hard at all to add a little camera on each row unit so if a problem arises it just stops the unit. Sends an alert by email Or text to the nearest dealer and the owner. We are already using that technology.

You already have major manufacturing warehouses that have hardly any human presence.
It's just a matter of time before retail catches up.
You're going to have a regional home Depot, Walmart.. whatever store. You'll have a showroom and just like you build a shopping cart. When you're online, you'll just build a shopping cart with your phone in the store. You're not physically pushing a shopping cart anymore. When you finally decide on what carpet you want with their app on your phone, you added to your card and when you finally go to checkout the robots in the warehouse where customers don't get to go are going to assemble your order up at a little. Will call station
