The landlord is probably making more money than before (oh no). I will also add that the rent needs to be close to market rent, or the landlord is just shorting himself. From years of experience, if you try to help somebody out by charging really cheap rent, the renters take advantage of you. If you want a good renter- either rental house or farmland, charge 10% less rent than the going rate. Also continue to improve your property.
