So what’s your incentive to bother with it?
Without the 2020-2024 inflation event it sounds like you’d be lucky to be treading water after 10 or 15 years. Park it in the S&P and make more while no worries about tenants or broken appliances right?
I’d apply the same logic to farm ground, but at least I enjoy working the land. I doubt most find great personal satisfaction in dealing with tenants.
