lactose free and ultra pasteurized?

Lactose = two sugars, glucose and galactose, being joined together.

Lactose Free:

1. Those two sugars are broken down

2. Mechanical filtration via specialized filters (ultrafiltration) that physically pull lactose molecules out of the milk.

"Ultra-pasteurized (UHT) milk is heated to a much higher temperature (at least 280°F for 2 seconds) than regular milk, killing nearly all bacteria and giving it an exceptionally long refrigerated shelf life,"
