E.Central MN | IF the immigration problem is as bad as Trump says it is, then the govt should pass the buck back to the companies that are hiring primarily immigrants for their workforce. Tell the employers that it's up to them to investigate and sort out the illegals and increase the penalties for any company that gets caught having more than one or two illegals on their payroll. They'd figure it out. Trump has got it wrong, the cost of all visas should be increased so employers are paying for the actual cost of monitoring the visa holders, the govt should make it unaffordable to use the visa program for unskilled workers. The flow of people coming here would slow to a trickle if nobody was willing to hire them. | |
