| I meant lower tier as in easier to replace not necessary lower skill level. I think automated milking machines are a great example of never say never. Can you imagine if they never existed? The idea of a computer controlled machine doing what seems impossible on a wide scale basis is incredibly crazy to imagine.
As far as certification and licensing goes that's just an artificial hurdle. Full self driving is a perfect example. It's safer but they've had to fight cameras instead of mirrors and human involvement being necessary because 1000 deaths at the hand of bad drivers is not as bad as one AI controlled fatality.
Timeline is uncertain but if someone thinks it's a 1000 years off, they'd be agreeing it's coming, just not exactly sure how soon. | |
