NCSD | After binging over the weekend on a lot of information related to AI/robotics I’m seriously wondering/worrying whether all this current hand wringing over labor is going to seem quite quaint in the not so distant future. (Roughly 5-10 years, although there are many in the field that say it’s coming sooner)
If what they say is coming really IS coming I have a hard time thinking things don’t get really bumpy to put it mildly.
I’d like someone to tell me that change is constant and this time is no different than other technological innovations, because I have a really hard time wrapping my head around the fact that we (humanity) are really going to be needed on this planet once we get relegated to second fiddle status.
