I guess I was wrong on the series the 996 will fit. I guess it might be the other way around, it won't fit the CR's without cutting and welding in a different center. I have a 96c on my TR86 that I got last year. Can't see how the conversion kiy could cost $3000, all it is is a couple of filler plates for the feederhouse opening, the different lower anchors, and hoses for the deck plates. Mine came off a CR, and the dealer included the kit when I bought it. He might have said the conversion kit is no longer available.
