I have a neighbor that sells bull by private treaty.
His prices are based on weigh up prices, he charges weigh up plus a premium depending on how nice a bull you choose. The last one I bought was $1000 over weigh up, and it cost me $3500. Today, I think I could sell that same bull weigh up for $2800 or maybe even $3000. I assume the next bull I get, will be more in the $4000 range, if in the same price tier.
