Will it be direct drive, or could you run it with a chain and sprocket?
I know a guy who uses old reel drive motors off of bean heads for projects, he just puts a big enough driven sprocket on what he wants to turn so that it has enough power to turn it. He gets the motors for next to nothing at salvage yards.
