South Central NE | We like sauerkraut. Ruben sandwiches are great. Always liked it over mashed potatoes with some brats or other sausage. We had a pastor who could make sauerkraut in a crockpot with pork that was excellent. Very smooth tasting. I think he even grew his cabbage and made his own sauerkraut. It's probably the best hot sauerkraut dish I have ever had. Wish we'd have gotten his recipe.
