From your comments down below in the other thread I'd guess they weigh 1600#.

From looking at the pictures I'd guess they weigh 1350 to 1400#.



When I use to weigh cows in the pasture I was somewhat surprised most of mine weighed around 1150-1250#.


In my mind, it takes a big cow to weigh over 1400# and most cows around are probably weighing 1150 to 1300#.



Early in my farming career I watched a lot of 4 or 500 pound calves bring just about the same total price per head as 6 or 700 pound calves. Total $ difference per head might of only been $20 to 40, or close enough that I couldn't figure out how any one could make that work (paying almost same price for a lighter calf vs a bigger calf).

I decided I would rather have 20% more smaller cows producing 20% more smaller calves on a pasture than having bigger cows and less number of total calves available to sell.
