Let's say each weans 50% her bodyweight on just grass no outside inputs for arguments sake. On the same amount of land you could run 3 - 1100 lb cows vs. 2 - 1650 lb cows. This is based off of avg steer prices from F&T last feeder special 2 weeks ago
825 lb calf @ $3.11 * 2 hd = $5131.50
550 lb calf @ $4.29 * 3 hd = $7078.50
