Over year ago. No ice but had Charcot foot. Doc said I had all my foot bones broke. They put me in crow boot. Bones healed back together but not perfect. Then fall of 24 was fighting a wildfire that partially was headed toward my home. Foot got bad sore under foot that was one that had been broken. Needed surgery to heal sore. After surgery doc said I needed ankle fused. So about 3 weeks later doc fused ankle. Next 4 months basicly hobbled around on one leg. I got myself a trough system that set in my walker so I could put bad leg on it and that helped me get around in the house. Try taking a leak standing on one leg. As of today the fused ankle bothers me daily. Hopefully in year from now it will be better. Special insoles and shoes. My walking is basicly 20% of what I would like as of now. Lots of therapy and exercises. Take care of your feet and do as doc says. Guessing he will put you in boot or cast.
