Honestly, anyone desiccating wheat with glyphosate?

If the argument is that it is safe because wheat has chaff on it, then wouldn't it be safe to spray a loaf of bread with Roundup, brush a layer of the crust off that is not thicker than the chaff, put it in the freezer for the withdrawal interval and then feed it to the kids? I wouldn't think of doing that, but we do that with wheat???
