I have been using a raven cruizer 2 the last several years in my spra coupe 3440 which also has a raven 440/450 controller. I have been manually switching the booms on and off - most times the whole boom or other times separate sections if I'm coming up to a uneven end row. I think auto boom shutoff would be great and have tried to read what I can in past posts. From what I've gathered my cruizer would not be a great option and I would need to upgrade. I see fans of agleader, trimble and others but what components will I need to accomplish this? Maybe different for each brand? From what I've read for a raven system for instance I would need newer console, and a specific module? Any help or recommendations would be great.

Why would your existing cruizer not be a good option?

Get a used accuboom node and correct cables and you should be good to go? Should be well under $1000 for both.

I run accuboom and steering on a cruiser 2 and I think it works pretty well and is pretty simple to set up and use.

It definitely does what is intended, not sure how another brand could do it much better?
