Sanilac Co. Michigan
I've had many of the same ideas, but reading here it's apparently a waste of time and money. Did run @5 gal of Alpine,or the like, 6-24-6 for a number of years until I ran alternating passes with and without, measured with a weigh wagon. The result was a big zero, that was the end for me. However, your post did bring to mind a fella familiar to michigan grower, Ray Rosson, and he did get phenomenal soybean yields on deep placed fertilizer on some pretty tough ground. Haven't heard much about that in the last fifteen or so years, so apparently it didn't catch on. Anyone know what happened there?
