Years ago I horribly sprained my ankle skipping a few steps off my combine ladder and landing kittywhampus in a dried up sprayer mud rut. I crawled around the rest of the fall. Had it x-rayed but supposedly nothing broke, just severe sprain. Literally took years to heal. Every evening after work I was limping around the house. Finally 3 or 4 years later I went in for an MRI, thinking there was debris or bone chip floating around. All it showed was scar tissue. Dr. said really nothing they could do. But strangely enough like a light switch after the MRI no more pain. Like as in the MRI cured me. Don’t know if it was the power of suggestion or what.

Moral of the story my ankle injury took years to heal, wish you better luck.
