Amherst WI | I completely understand, I was at that point in my life at one time too. You'll get there at some point.
I owned 2 "cheap" Knight slingers. About every other time I needed to use them something would break halfway through cleaning the barn. A 6 hour process was now 8-10 depending on what happened. In the winter "here" you might only get a day or two a month when the barn is all thawed out to haul, if you miss that window now you are SOL until the next time.
My old Knight mixer was about the same way, not reliable. So bought a new Meyer mixer 8 years ago, I've had one repair since I have owned it and a set of knives.
We still power this stuff with 25-35+ year old tractors but we can unhook and put something else on a lot easier than an implement going down | |
