Subject: RE: AgLeader switch box question

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
There are two approaches to working with fence line tips with an Ag Leader Liquid Product Control module

Approach 1: Set up the configuration with extra sections. One extra on the left (would be referred to as Section 1 and have a narrow width) and another extra on the far right (would be referred to with its own section number and again have a narrow width. This way the fence line tip switches would normally be OFF unless you wanted them ON.

Approach 2: Set up the configuration with the usual number of sections. Inform the system that you will be using fence line tips which are triggered OFF Pins 11 & 12. When using this approach the assumption is that the fence line tips receive their supply off the main boom section near them. In other words the left fence line tip can "rob" its supply from the real lrft Boom Section 1. No width is associated with the fence line tips with this approach. So spraying with one or both fence line tips on actually reduces the amount applied by the regular boom tips since the same amount of product is being spread over a slightly larger width. This reduction is minor in the overall scheme of things.

As was mentioned with this approach a fenceline tip will not become ON if the main boom section is OFF for any reason.

This is yet another reason I suggest keeping your new items in their own World.
