Central SD | No not every bull is calving ease rated for heifers. Too low of birth weights are problematic as are too large birth weights. Different problems yes but bad outcomes in both circumstances. Most of my calving ease bulls will never see a mature cow here unless I need some extra bull power late in the season. My bulls that see mature cows will never be used on virgin heifers either. | |
