Subject: RE: Naming fields architecture for future SMS use

NE IL
I’ve found agfinity to be extremely picky about field names. I have several farms split east and west. Farm is named by what we call it and the field is named east or west. This creates various issues. I can’t remember exactly but here’s what I did to correct it. In sms I merged/split or whatever needed to be done and sorted all loads by field. I then renamed each field to something unique, usually the farm name and then east or west. I then deleted all data in agfinity. I then synced sms to agfinity and created setup files for all displays. Now that all fields are unique and named the same across all displays it runs pretty smooth. I was hoping to use just sms or agfinity but both have unique features and for now am using both.

ETA
If you don’t have boundaries made you should. Even if they are just hand drawn. It makes everything work much smoother.
