After hip replacement surgery, my surgeon wants his patents to take Amoxicillin and hour before teeth cleaning or cavity filling and such. If any germs ever make it the man made parts the only way to clear it out is remove the joint. No blood flow to man made parts so no way to get anabolic to attack germs.
