But aside from that, I know I've heard nothing good about Samsung appliances, so I definitely wouldn't get one of those. I know that LG gets a ton of complaints, but that's probably because they're one of the biggest appliance manufacturers now; whoever has the highest volume is likely to also have the highest number of complaints.
I don't have personal experience with dishwashers. My mom had a Bosch that she loved, for a long time, but she said it caught fire (I suspect it just threw some sparks). She'd had it for at least a decade by that point. But I'm pretty sure that she's now had 4 in the last decade (various brands). I'd probably go with Bosch or Miele myself, based on reviews and the quality that they are known for having.
