Subject: RE: AgLeader switch box question

I would try wiring your extra outputs to the fence row nozzle pins on the Liquid Module, 11 and 12. Then set the width of the fence row sections to the smallest value allowed as to not mess with the rate control of your liquid. Assign the switches you want to use for the extra outputs in the auxiliary inputs page. Make a new configuration to try this out.

The downside of this is they may not work if the liquid section next to that is not turned on. The manual says the section nearest the fence row nozzle must be on for the fence row nozzle to work. On the plumbing side that’s obvious, but I’m not sure if Ag Leader locks this out in the control side too and won’t send 12V to the pin if the neighboring section is not on. I hadn’t tried it myself yet. Autoswath and raising the planter if using an implement switch with the liquid module would turn your extra outputs on and off too.

I used an ISO liquid module for a project last winter to control the up/down and pressure for air adjustable floating row cleaner cylinders on my planter. I didn’t get it done, but I did get far enough to know that it was probably going to work well with a bit more time and testing. Adding an additional module as I did could be a solution as well.

Similar shenanigans can be accomplished through the clutch module as well using impossibly small sections and some compromises.
