NEMO | I understand your points all too well. All of our situations are different. For me, it's as much about a bunch of chopped up little pastures, owned and rented . The rented ones have little water infrastructure and less fence, and deer hunters really would like them to go back to brush....how ya compete with that. I compete with chopped feed on my own acres, then double crop to beans or silage corn. Seems like it's complicated, but it's not, and the amount of feed like the other guy said, beats chasing hay around all summer | |
