The Trimble/Mueller ISO module is being used more places now than it was 2 years ago when I became a Trimble dealer. I have 2 in stock, though I've since found out I can't have access to the software until I attend some training, which I'm not sure if I can do due to not being a FULL Line Trimble dealer.
So, first things first, if you don't have a Trimble dealer to work with, not sure that's the right option.
2nd, They do have some harnessing options for adapting to some equipment, I have a setup here to replace a Raven 440/450 controller with a direct harness...still trying to get a customer to let me try that so I can lean on AGCO to let me go to ISO Training for Trimble.
I think there's a lot of options with this module, but I think you better have a dealer that is willing to help at this point in the game. I can do what I can, but without the software to flash it, I'm a bit behind the curve!
FWIW, Precision just released vConnect which is an ISO controller using this module to control up to 24 rows of vDrive/vSet2 meters for Precision...in case someone doesn't want a 20/20, they can use this for control along with some different cabling and SRM's from what I can tell.

I have a couple of agco/trimble dealers nearby, so I should be able to get the harnessing/support. For whatever reason, dry spreader application just doesn't seem to be promoted like liquid, so I was concerned with long term support. If you're seeing it as a stable or growing product as a dealer, it shouldn't be a problem. I wonder if the Precision vConnect is a rebranded version of the original planter control for this or if they re-did it? |
