Yes it was very unfair to many areas. Looking back, I don't know if the situation could have been avoided or not. It has certainly put a lot of extra load on the road and highway systems in the state and unfortunately the deregulation hit at about the same time when yields started to trend up. I wonder how differently things might look it 50% of those lines were still in operation. | |
