| according to Josh Linville and others countries such a as India are taking all the urea they can get, China isn`t exporting phosphorus ECT ECT and Brazil is making money so they are buying. from what i`ve read this isn`t a "US problem" it`s worldwide demand.
basically "how does the government help the US farmer without increasing input prices? well, it`s like a man with both feet in a bucket and trying to lift himself by the handle.
the only way I know of to help farmer would be to have paid set-aside programs where the needs financially are met while cutting the need to purchase seed, fertilizer & chemical . but those on the wanting to farm the whole state will scream `bloody murder!` | |
